Award-winning artist Heather Burton is showcasing her new exhibition “Wild Yorkshire” in Scampston Garden Café from 20th August until 27th October. The exhibition features stunning pieces inspired by the rugged landscape found around Yorkshire.
Heather Burton is a figurative and landscape artist who specialises in palette knife work. Based near Howden, East Yorkshire, Heather started painting professionally five years ago alongside her full-time career as a national magazine journalist. Her work is displayed in exhibitions, galleries and art events throughout the north of England. Her inspiration is found within the dramatic moods and changing seasons of the northern coastline, moorlands and mountains. ‘Wild Yorkshire’ is a collection of Heather’s work that reflects the exhilarating beauty of this extraordinary county, its striking coastal character and profound transformation throughout the seasons.
