Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) continues its mission to support independent makers with the biannual MADE showcase. In spring 2026, a new collaboration will launch with Design-Nation, the leading membership portfolio for contemporary craft and design in the UK, coinciding with its 25th anniversary. The work will include 20 renowned craftspeople on display in YSP’s main Visitor Centre, and all work will be for sale.

Headlining Yorkshire Sculpture Park's 2026 programme, this is a major presentation of work by contemporary Indigenous American artists from Tia Collection. The first group exhibition staged in the prestigious Underground Gallery in its twenty-year history, it brings together over 60 works by more than 30 artists, whose practices are rooted in deep relationships to land, cultural memory and community. This exhibition offers a rare encounter with contemporary Indigenous North American art that is unprecedented in Europe. Spanning numerous regions and genres, it features a richly diverse range of sculpture, textiles, ceramics, photography, film and painting.

Step inside the working imagination of much-loved local artist Norman Cornish in this intimate exhibition at The Bowes Museum. Norman Cornish: A Life in Sketchbooks brings together finished drawings, paintings and watercolours alongside the preparatory sketches that shaped them, offering a rare insight into the artist’s creative process.

This is a lovely opportunity to experience and soak up the castle’s unique atmosphere out of hours.  Feel the cool of the stone and feel the history as the castle rests for the evening. Our intrepid re-enactors have created bespoke evening tours bringing alive the story of the building and its people as the sun goes down. Created for just 20 guests for each evening, the tour lasts around an hour with time afterwards to wander around by yourself ahead of meeting for a drink around a fire. Pre-booking essential.
