Join her for a deep dive into the burgeoning nature writing genre, some analysis of style and techniques, guided exercises to explore and develop your own writing, and advice on getting published. All set within the inspiring setting of the arboretum grounds at the peak of nature’s year.

Garden Talk: John Grimshaw – The Garden in Ray Wood

Introduction to Tree Identification: Native Trees

In this day course John Grimshaw will introduce you to them using the collection at the Yorkshire Arboretum, teaching you about the various features to look for and some simple ways to remember them. The focus will be on species most often seen in northern England, using summer foliage characters to tell them apart.
