The Spring Plant Fair at Scamston Hall will be returning on Sunday 29th May and it’s the perfect event for any garden enthusiast or horticulturalist. This year there will be an exciting mix of stallholders, both new and old, offering a huge range: from perennials to pelargoniums, grasses to garden accessories, and hostas to herbs.
A number of award-winning nurseries will be hosted, as well as local experts, this May. All the stallholders are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their plants. Returning this year will be Scampston village locals, Wacks Wicked Plants, who have just been awarded the premier gold award at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show. They will be selling an impressive array of unusual carnivorous plants.
Scampston Hall’s own nursery will also be fully stocked with some of the unusual varieties of plants found in the garden, and carefully cultivated by the team here at Scampston.
Plant fair tickets also include entry to the walled garden and parkland. The Garden Café will be open and serving freshly prepared lunches and cream teas. Scampston Hall is also open for guided tours throughout the afternoon with an upgraded ticket.
Doors open from 10am, admission to the plant fair and gardens will be £9.00 per adult (RHS members £4.50 / Scampston Annual Members FREE).
