Nunnington Hall will be decorated for Christmas as it could have been throughout history, from the fashionable Georgian period and the iconic Victorian, to the memorable war years and 1980s parties.
This autumn, Nunnington Hall, near Helmsley will be marking the season with a host of celebratory guests and events. As Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 October comes round, the orchards will be pruned and ready to welcome visitors to celebrate all things autumn.
Burton Constable Hall will be offering horrifying Halloween events and activities this October half term. Explore the gruesome grounds and uncover petrifying pumpkin patches, creepy crafts and spooky story telling or access the Haunted Hall for ghost stories and a witches hat hunt!
In order to better welcome growing audiences Kiplin Hall plans to build a new welcome block and improve car parking to enhance the popular visitor attraction. Another project is also underway bringing a large programme of enhancements to the gardens.
A brand new event will brighten up December at Sewerby Hall and Gardens: Sewerby Winter Woodland will take visitors on a magical outdoor journey of spectacular sounds and lights. Visitors will discover that The Snow Queen has cast a spell on the beautiful woodland, which has come alive with light and sounds.
A new exhibition by artist and illustrator Gillian Tyler is coming to Nunnington Hall, on display from Saturday 11 September – Sunday 31 October. Gillian’s work is inspired by the nature that surrounds her home in South Yorkshire, on the edge of the Peak District. (Note, there is no need to book a visit to see the exhibition).
Scampston Hall are excited to kick start the Autumn season with their annual plant fair which is being held on Sunday 12th September, 10am-3pm. There will be lots of specialist stalls selling an array of plants, garden accessories and produce.
