Easter is an exciting time for Mount Grace Priory in north Yorkshire. A major investment for English Heritage, the new gardens continue to evolve under the creative leadership of celebrity plantsman and broadcaster Chris Beardshaw. The fine 17th century mansion house with Arts & Crafts interior, is fully open and hosts an exhibition which charts the extent of the work that has been on-going in the garden over the winter. The priory, which is one of the best preserved priories in the country, is fully open from the Easter weekend. Some areas of the terraced gardens in front of the house, the orchard and wooded area remain closed until early April, and the team look forward to welcoming visitors to the newly named Mount Grace Priory, House and Gardens over the Easter weekend so visitors can see how the gardens are being transformed into an exciting asset for north Yorkshire.
