On Sunday 13th May, the East Yorkshire Thoroughbred Car Club will be exhibiting vintage and classic vehicles in the grounds of this magnificent stately home from 11am-5pm. During the event the Club will be raising funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Visitors are also invited to take a stroll in the Elizabethan walled garden to see the spring flowers blooming, and the house will be open to explore. The courtyard shops will be filled with the new season’s stock, while home grown plants, all propagated from the gardens, will be sold in the courtyard. The café will be open for freshly prepared meals, home baked cakes and refreshments; delicious local ice creams and freshly ground coffee will be served from our vintage ice cream van.
After the Classic Car Rally, the next event at Burton Agnes is the Gardeners’ Fair on the 16th and 17th June, at which visitors can enjoy a summer celebration of gardening with stalls, talks and plant surgeries.
