Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Bridlington, East Yorkshire
With over 50 acres of stunning gardens to explore, a zoo, adventure playground and a host of events throughout the year, it is definitely worth a visit.
Exciting news, Natural History Museum’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year is coming to Sewerby Hall. The exhibition visits the house from the 25 April to 5 July 2020. The house is styled how it would have looked in the 1900s using furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum and other important collections. Interactive areas of the house include a servant’s life, a working kitchen and the extended Amy Johnson exhibition. The zoo is the place to keep the children amused, home to an exciting range of over 60 mammals and birds, firm favourites include the Eclectus Parrot, who is always keen to chat, the Humboldt Penguins splashing and swimming and the cute Raccoon Dogs.
