Harewood sits on the outskirts of Leeds and Harrogate, just seven miles from the centre of Leeds yet in the heart of beautiful Yorkshire scenery.
One of the Treasure Houses of England, Harewood House is a charity, with stunning gardens, a Bird Garden and an impressive house created by the finest craftspeople of its time. Expect the unexpected, with regular exhibitions of national significance, working with modern and contemporary artists and hosting special events and themed weekends throughout the season. 2020 celebrates 50 years of the Harewood Bird Garden, originally opened to attract visitors and now promoting an understanding of birds and their environment through conservation, preservation and education. From flamingos to penguins, Lories to Love Birds, visit new exhibitions across the House and grounds that celebrate the beloved birds.
