Rievaulx Terrace, Helmsley, North Yorkshire
One of Ryedale’s hidden gems – the eighteenth century landscape of Rievaulx Terrace and its temples.
Designed to impress, Rievaulx Terrace was created by the Duncombe family in the 18th century and feels just as grand and tranquil today. Enjoy a peaceful woodland walk, before it opens out onto the terrace with stunning views through woodland vistas of Rievaulx Abbey.
