Set 1½ miles from the centre of Harrogate, this family-friendly garden is as much an inspiration to the amateur gardener as it is delightful to nature lovers.
The 58-acre site is full of innovative design, creative planting and practical ideas to take home. Highlights include the colourful herbaceous borders and wildflower meadows, the kitchen, scented and sub-tropicana gardens, the alpine zone and the woodland and streamside walks. Children will enjoy exploring the natural play features including the Logness Monster and the
Craggle Top Tree House.
Visitors can enjoy a host of events throughout the year; Bettys Café Tea Rooms overlooking the garden and the RHS Plant Centre and Gift Shop with a wide range of plants, tools, accessories and gifts.
Harlow Carr is open to visitors with advance bookings, until COVID restrictions are lifted. RHS members go free. For further information see the website.
