Explore an awe-inspiring World Heritage Site set within the Skell Valley.
Discover imposing abbey ruins with a dramatic history and a sweeping Georgian water garden boasting crashing cascades, follies and statues, alongside mirror-like ponds. Venture further, into the medieval deer park to take in ancient tree avenues and red, fallow and sika deer. You’ll also find William Burges’ gothic masterpiece St Mary’s Church in Studley Royal deer park.
Hidden gems include the Elizabethan façade of Fountains Hall, a secret herb garden, heritage vegetables and crafts at Swanley Grange, and the oldest standing building in the care of National Trust, Fountains Mill.
In the play area zoom along the zip-wire, climb a mini abbey and build a den, then follow paths to the bird hide to get twitching.
