The Forbidden Corner, Leyburn, North Yorkshire
The Forbidden Corner is a unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises created within a four acre garden in the heart of Tupgill Park and the Yorkshire Dales.
A tourist visitor attraction unlike anywhere that you have been before, ideal for the adventurers and those young at heart!
New for 2023!
- We will be completing refurbishing our gift shop and adding lots of new Forbidden Corner goodies.
- Our play area will be getting expanded with brand new play equipment.
- Live character performances including our resident Dragon Ember!
Tickets must be pre-booked and can be done so on our website or over the phone.

Opening times
Everyday 1st April – 31st October then weekends until the 17th December.
Monday – Saturday 12noon – 6pm.
Sundays and bank Holidays 10am – 6pm.
