The Forbidden Corner, Leyburn, North Yorkshire
Situated in beautiful Coverdale, The Forbidden Corner is one of England’s most recent follies.
A unique labyrinth of tunnels, chambers, follies and surprises, created in a four acre garden in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. The Temple of the underworld, the eye of the needle, a huge pyramid made of translucent glass, paths and passages that lead nowhere, and extraordinary statues at every turn. There are decisions to be made and tricks to avoid. A day out with a difference that will challenge and delight children of all ages.
Lost for centuries, we have recently unearthed The Armstrong Mausoleum, dare you wander down this secret crypt where there are some scary surprises in store.
Superb Café and gift shop, to get that special memento to remind you of your visit!
