In 2020 antiques dealer Annie Marchant left a generous gift which came to Kiplin Hall and Gardens. This exhibition showcases her impressive collection of historic kitchen and dairy equipment to the public for the first time. The exhibition explores how and why museums collect, and how these collections are cared for and preserved for future generations.  

Annie Marchant was a lively and generous woman with a passion for the past. Her collection was entwined with her daily life and the things she cared about. Reuse and recycling, growing your own and preserving produce after harvest. She held much in common with the custodians of Kiplin Hall, past and present.
