We’ve been teased with warmer days, and school is almost done for another term; the scene is set. Local National Trust places are setting up their unique ‘Easter adventures in nature’ trails. Families of all ages are invited to head out around the gardens and landscapes of Yorkshire, make nature discoveries, have a go at the challenges and collect a Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg at the end.
At the start of the trail, pick up your activity pack with a map and details of the bespoke adventure, pencil, and chocolate egg at the end. Trails cost £3 per participant, unless otherwise stated, and will be available whilst stocks last.

Create some wild art, peek around a pond and looking for animal homes are just some of the activities you can enjoy at East Riddlesden Hall.

Uncover outdoor secrets amid gardens and woodland as you enjoy your very own Nostell adventure among the flowers, plants and wildlife.

Explore the organic garden, walk through the wildflower meadows, and run along the riverbank whilst completing 10 activities as you go.

Make friends with a ladybird, start your journey and track the bats are just some of the activities you can experience at Ormesby Hall. Trails cost £2 per participant.
Pick up refreshments as you go or pause for lunch to make the most of the time together. You’re not limited to one place, try a few and see which nature adventure suits you the best. Normal admissions charges apply to visit or free to National Trust members and under-fives.
