East Riddlesden Hall, Riddlesden, West Yorkshire
An intimate estate offering layer upon layer of history.
Hundreds of years ago East Riddlesden Hall was a thriving farming estate and was once home to many families.
From merchant class to tenant farmers; listen to their stories unravel with scandal and intrigue. Driving through the gates you’ll be met with 400-year-old stone walls blackened by time and industry, and the imposing oak beams in the Great Barn show the markings of proud craftsmen. Each room tells the history of this wonderful jigsaw puzzle of a house. The garden is a delight in any season with explosions of colour and scents in every corner. The natural play areas are the perfect place to stir up the imaginations of young minds. Events run throughout the year.
