The gardens remain packed full of colour throughout summer, supplemented by new highlights, like the irises of May, the peonies of June, the roses of mid-summer and the late summer blooms of the September garden.  Come and see why after a recent visit, renowned plantsman Roy Lancaster commented – “What I saw exceeded all expectations and I for one was bowled over.” Plus, our specialist nursery has a particularly fine selection of perennials and our cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday plus Bank Holiday Mondays serving light lunches, freshly baked scones and delicious cakes.
